BBDO Guerrero has appointed Josh Espinase as the agency’s new head of social. Spending nearly a decade in advertising, Espinase specialises in social media and strategic planning, it said in a statement.
Espinase started his advertising career with an internship at BBDO Guerrero before moving on to work with several agencies, where he had the opportunity to work with numerous local and international brands.

Passionate about Filipino trend culture in the Gen Z demographic, Espinase will lead the social team and work across the agency to elevate the social media campaigns of clients upon his return to BBDO Guerrero.
"We’re happy to have Espinase back onboard with us. We look forward to the fresh perspectives and energy Espinase will bring to our team and our brands,” said Francine Kahn-Gonzalez, chief executive officer of BBDO Guerrero.
"BBDO Guerrero introduced me to the world of advertising and now, a decade later, I’m excited to return to where it all began" said Espinase.
"In just my first month back, I've seen that the agency is brimming with creative talent and innovative ideas. My team is committed to bringing those ideas to life in their most vibrant forms and leading the charge in social-first strategies and ideas together with new social-based innovations for our clients."
Separately, BBDO was recently parked under Omnicom Advertising Group (OAG), a new global organisation launched by Omnicom that brings together some of its creative networks under one leadership. Other major agencies that be parked under OAG includes DDB, TBWA as well as leading agencies within the advertising collective including Goodby Silverstein & Partners, GSD&M, Merkley & Partners and Zimmerman.
OAG will be led by Troy Ruhanen as global CEO, Deepthi Prakesh as chief operating officer and Denis Streiff as global CFO.
