Axiata's Digital ADA has appointed Suraj Gerard Sivaprasad as MD of its Indonesia operations, tasked with establishing ADA as the most reliable digital solutions partner to help businesses in the country navigate through digital transformation. He takes over from Kirill Mankovski who returned to Europe to work as CEO/MD for robota.ua, according to his LinkedIn. The team in Indonesia currently has more than 100 individuals and aims to grow its talent strength in key areas by another 50% this year.
Sivaprasad (pictured) was previously the chief information officer at Ai XPRT for close to a year. The company offers end-to-end B2B solutions and mainly covers the fintech and regulatory tech space for audit and compliance. Prior to that, he was CEO of CellOS Software, which aims to enable big data monetisation and improved network intelligence for communications networks. He first joined the company as VP before taking on the role of head of global sales, according to his LinkedIn. Sivaprasad has also worked at Carrier iQ, Maxis, Aircom International and Actix.
Sivaprasad told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that his personal vision is to inspire knowledge, empower potential, maximise returns, nurture leadership, encourage fulfilment, and motivate curiosity. "These principles are held true for both; the people in the company and the customers we serve to grow. This is in line with our company vision and mission - We exist to make our customers and people win," he added.
ADA's CEO Srinivas Gattamneni said it is thrilled to have Sivaprasad lead the Indonesia operations. "He brings a wealth of experience in digital transformation and analytics, something urgently required by our clients as they navigate the current competitive digital landscape,” Gattamneni added.
During the last quarter of 2020, ADA Indonesia saw an increase of over 50% from its annual figures to beyond 200 clients to date, ranging from industries such as banking and financial services, consumer packaged goods, automotive, eCommerce, and telco, including various digital transformation initiatives. Overall, it has grown by over 30% year-on-year for 2020, and ADA said it has a very robust, high growth plan for further expansion in Indonesia market this year.
