Asia Miles introduces flexible flight redemption options

Asia Miles has extended its Miles Plus Cash payment method to Cathay Pacific and partner airline flight bookings.
The new option will kick off on 30 March for customers booking flights directly via the Cathay Pacific website with the Miles Plus Cash payment option. With the new feature, members can now book any available seat on any flights to all destinations available for sale on the Cathay Pacific website, including partner airlines. This means members will have more options, more access to seat availability and instant confirmation on their ticket.
Members of Asia Miles have the flexibility to decide the proportion of Asia Miles to cash payment that best suits them, from a minimum spend of 5,000 Asia Miles to full payment with Asia Miles.
“We are excited about creating this new way for our members to use their Asia Miles. As popular as our non-flight awards continue to be, we know that our members are really passionate about travel. We all feel a pent-up desire to fly as soon as normal travel resumes, and our members can now use their Asia Miles to fly to their dream destination on any flight that is available for sale," said Paul Smitton, CEO of Asia Miles.
The Miles Plus Cash payment method was introduced in 2019 for lifestyle products and HK Express flights.
