KSK Land's comms VP Arnee Ismail joins SME Bank Malaysia

Arnee Ismail has joined SME Bank Malaysia as head, group strategic communication reporting to the group chief corporate strategy officer. Arnee (pictured) is responsible for developing and managing the bank's strategic communication and branding plans.
She is also supporting the development, implementation and maintenance of internal and external stakeholders communications programmes to market the bank’s existing products and services. At the same time, Arnee will also develop, prepare, and manage communication strategies, schedules, materials, logistics, publications and media; and position the bank through strategic initiatives and programs to achieve its aspirations and mandate.
"When asked why she chose to join this role, she said: "It was an opportunity to not only grow in my career but also to be a part of an organisation which is committed to developing Malaysian entrepreneurs."
She was previously with KSK Land as VP, communications and a senior manager, brand and PR communications at FWD Insurance. Arnee has also worked at Berjaya Sompo Insurance, International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation, MUFG, and AmMetLife Insurance. On her LinkedIn, Arnee describes herself to be an experienced team led in PR and communications as well as brand marketing across various industries.
