AlipayHK and Sino Group have joined hands to enhance consumers’ shopping experiences by leveraging Alipay’s digital marketing solution in Sino Group’s shopping malls and properties.
This strategic partnership serves as a testament to the recognition and endorsement of AlipayHK’s digital marketing solution as well as a contribution to helping build Hong Kong into a smart city.
Under this partnership, Sino Group’s cross-mall rewards programme S+ REWARDS becomes the first large-scale shopping mall membership programme in Hong Kong to join AlipayHK point rewards. The Group’s parking lots and property management fees will also support AlipayHK payments for digital convenience.
Meanwhile, by integrating with merchants and membership system providers, Alipay offers users the convenience of one-click membership registration, easy point accumulation and redemption. The system automatically handles transaction reconciliation and point issuance, elevating consumers’ shopping experience.
With the newly launched AlipayHK loyalty programme, the brand is driving innovation and addressing consumer challenges, such as the fragmentation of loyalty points across multiple cards and apps.
S+ REWARDS and AlipayHK rewards programmes are available in Sino Group’s nine shopping malls, including Tmtplaza, Olympian City, Citywalk, China Hong Kong City, Tsim Sha Tsui Center and Empire Centre, Gold Coast Mall, Island Resort Mall, Sino Plaza and One North.
“I am very excited to partner with Sino Group again. This cooperation is more comprehensive and in-depth, covering all aspects of ‘clothing, food, housing and transportation’. It is also Sino Group's recognition of AlipayHK's diversified merchant digital solutions, effectively helping merchants carry out digital upgrades,” said Venetia Lee, Alipay HK chief executive and general manager for Alipay Greater China International Business.
“AlipayHK's new programme has been favoured by many merchants since its launch in the middle of this year. Many merchants have already joined. This time, we have also received the S⁺ REWARDS franchise, which will undoubtedly make our nearly four million active users have more fun spending and playing in Sino's shopping malls. It will also help attract more customers and boost shopping mall business,” she added.
Bella Chhoa, director, asset management of Sino Group, said with the help of AlipayHK’s huge active user network and diversified merchant marketing solutions, Sino Group expects to bring new vitality and growth to its shopping malls and merchants.
“Sino Group and AlipayHK have always been close partners and this in-depth collaboration provides our customers, residents and merchants with an additional convenient and fast payment method, making full use of mobile payments,” she added.
