Royal Enfield brings motorbike enthusiasts across Bali and Lombok in new tourism campaign

Royal Enfield and the Indonesian tourism ministry are collaborating to promote tourism.
The Royal Enfield Wonderful Indonesia Ride sees influencers from Australia, India, South Korea, Thailand and Malaysia embarking on a long motorbike ride to discover the Indonesian islands of Bali and Lombok.
Taking place from 30 October to 4 November 2024, the influencers joined a five-day four-night trip aboard the Royal Enfield motorcycle from Bali to Mandalika, Lombok, while enjoying the scenery.

Along the way, they learn about the customs and cultures of the preserved Sasak tribe, which are introduced to paserean tradition - a tradition of wrestling using a cane and cow-skin shield, visited the GWK Ampitheatre, rode on the seashore of Keramas Pantai, visited Indonesian wineries and more.
Titus Haridjati, director of tourism marketing communications, ministry of tourism, reportedly said the ministry is committed to promoting the beauty of Indonesia along with its tourist destinations for both domestic and international tourism. Haridjati added that the ministry of tourism appreciates the collaboration with Royal Enfield and all the rider's participation.
Moreover, Haridjati hopes that the beauty of Indonesia can be recognised on a global stage, reported Antara News.
Meanwhile, Anuj Dua, business head for Asia-Pacific markets of Royal Enfield reportedly said the activity prioritises the culture of leisure riding and creates the best combination of man, machine and terrain.
Dua also hopes that The Royal Enfield Wonderful Indonesia can attract travelers to experience the beauty of Indonesia through riding.
Earlier in June this year, the ministry of tourism and creative economy of Indonesia unveiled a programme titled "IndoBisa 2024" to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Indonesia.
IndoBisa2024 is a programme that connects local startups with investors, mentors and related stakeholders in the business ecosystem. Its programme also covers fundraising, mentoring programs and networking sessions with investors.
It aims to support the development of startup companies in the tourism and creative economy sectors.
In addition, IndoBisa 2024 focuses on startups in the tourism and creative economy sectors which require funding and ecosystem to grow and develop into a sustainable business. The sectors include gaming business, applications, design and art, and media and entertainment.
