It's a brat summer: Warner Music SG, Ritz and more jump on Charli XCX album launch
share on
Warner Music Singapore has trendjacked Charli XCX's latest album Brat. The music label changed its Instagram display picture to the style of the English singer and songwriter's sixth-studio album cover.
The Brat album cover is a shade of bright lime green with the word 'Brat' in Arial font. The music label has since mimicked it by using the same shade of bright lime green and Arial font with the text 'WMSG', an abbreviation of Warner Music Singapore. In addition, the brand has changed its Facebook and X header to the album cover.
That's not all, the brand has also made two posts in promotion of the album. The first post featured conversations between people where the sender shares a thought, and the response is corrected to "That's so brat".
In one of the posts, the sender shared that she had unblocked her ex and received a text from him. She revealed that she replied but the response typed out was "That's so brat" in place of "Why do you choose to incite violence and volatility on yourself?".
In another post, the brand had listed out the 'best apples in the world'. Part of that list was a picture of a green apple, British rock group Coldplay singer Chris Martin and his daughter Apple Martin, the cover of Charli XCX's song Apple and American singer Teddy Swim's song Apple Juice.
