Popular fast-food chain 4Fingers Crispy Chicken will be opening its first flagship store in Jakarta at the mall Grand Indonesia. The brand which has a presence in Singapore and Malaysia, will open with many of its signature chicken flavors such as its hot and soy garlic sauce which has made it a favorite amongst its Asian audience.
“We see great enthusiasm from 4Fingers fans in Jakarta. It is an honor for 4Fingers Crispy Chicken to be able to serve the Fingers Rangers, so there is no longer a need to travel abroad in search of the 4Fingers experience. Through offering quality products, signature recipes and fresh preparations, 4Fingers is here, daring to be different from other quick service restaurants. The taste of signature sauces will boldly bring a new taste to the dining table for crispy chicken connoisseurs,” said Dianri Taufik, the country general manager of 4Fingers Crispy Chicken.
Currently, 4Fingers Crispy Chicken will be working with integrated marketing agency TYO First Edition to launch its first “Berani” campaign.
“The Berani campaign celebrates how we dare to be different from the rest. Whether it's the product, cooking technique or taste. We are an Asian brand serving great food, fast,” said Rahayu Sari Wulandika, a marketing executive at 4Fingers Crispy Chicken when MARKTEING-INTERACTIVE reached out for a comment.
Wulandika added that in the short term, they plan to focus on the Jabodetabek area though they do see opportunities in Java and Bali in the longer term.
The opening of 4Fingers Crispy Chicken comes as FAS Jakarta, a financial company, reports that the Indonesian foodservice industry is valued at US$24.3 billion, making it the largest market in Southeast Asia. The top three players in the Indonesian foodservice sector currently include international fast-food chains KFC, McDonald’s, and Pizza Hut. The statistics suggest a significant demand for fast food chains in the country.
