Uniplan Hong Kong promotes ECD Judd Christie to managing director

Brand experience agency Uniplan has promoted executive creative director Judd Christie (pictured) as managing director for Hong Kong with immediate effect.

In his new role, Christie will lead the growth and development of Uniplan Hong Kong office and continue pushing forward the agency’s transformation process from a live communication to a full-service brand experience agency. He will be reporting directly to Geraldine Chew, CEO, Greater China.

With over 20 years of experience working across the Asia Pacific region. Christie is passionate about creating impactful brand experience to engage audiences by drawing from a background that covers theatre, digital, advertising, strategy, film and TV. Since he joined Uniplan in 2018, Christie has led the team to create unique brand experience for diversified clients.

“In recent years, our Hong Kong team has expanded its offerings with a strong focus on content and creative," he said. "The ability to craft engaging content has never been more important, and our team’s expertise at this has seen them receive global recognition for the strength of their brand experience campaigns. This has seen us busy with a diverse range of projects including visual merchandising, exhibitions, brand experience centers, Livestream/hybrid events, bespoke performances, digital experiences, auto shows and holistic campaigns.”

He added, “Even during this challenging time with many restrictions and regulations, there remains a wealth of opportunities to safely engage the audience. We look forward to helping the Hong Kong market navigate these challenges now and into the future as our market opens up."

With Christie in this new role, the company is currently in the recruitment phase for a new lead for creative team in Hong Kong.

“Christie has built up Hong Kong as a creative hub for the Greater China region and gained recognition with awards for our work. Now, he will bring his knowledge and experience to our continued success as the leader for our Hong Kong office,” Chew said.
