TEAM LEWIS has promoted its associate director Miranda Xie (pictured right) to new general manager for Hong Kong, succeeding Kate Kwan (pictured middle). Meanwhile, Kwan is promoted to managing director of TEAM LEWIS Greater China, and Beijing office associate director Stella He (pictured left) has stepped up as director of TEAM LEWIS Beijing.

In their new roles, Xie and He will now report to Kwan, while Kwan continues to report to Keso Kendall, SVP, TEAM LEWIS APAC.

Effective 1 July, these promotions reflect the exceptional performance demonstrated by these individuals, as well as TEAM LEWIS’s commitment to recognising and fostering talent within the organisation, according to the release. These promotions come as the agency continues to pursue the range of opportunities emerging from across the Greater China region, with a more integrated team structure across the market bringing together the Beijing and Hong Kong offices under a singular umbrella.

With a background in tech and corporate sectors, Xie’s comprehensive understanding of the industries will ensure continued excellence in delivering results for clients. She joined TEAM LEWIS Hong Kong as account director in 2019 and was promoted to associate director in 2021. Prior to TEAM LEWIS, she was the account director at BCW Global.

On the other hand, Kwan will be leading the growth and expansion of TEAM LEWIS in the Greater China region, whereas He brings 11 years of experience in PR and marketing communication in B2B and B2C brands. She will continue to drive strategic initiatives and client success within Beijing.

These promotions follow a run of new multi-market client wins for the agency in the past six months, including Endowus, GoGoX and Wharf Hotels.

Commenting on the appointment, Kendall said: “We are thrilled to announce these well-deserved promotions within our Greater China region. We have seen great growth from our Hong Kong office this financial year and the signs are positive that China will follow suit as the market continues to open up post-COVID. I am very excited to see the impact that these promotions will bring to the region and delighted that we are able to continue to support the growth of our highly talented team.”
