OYO Rooms is on the hunt for a head of growth, Southeast Asia, a newly created role, to launch its online OYO consumer products, including its app and website, and drive revenue from those two channels to ensure monthly targets are met.The individual is also expected to build growth strategies or models for the entire marketing or demand growth function, including digital, advertising, communications and creative in the Southeast Asia region. The head of growth, Southeast Asia, is also responsible for managing the entire customer life cycle starting from acquisition to retention, and bringing on board the right talent to drive growth for the region.In a statement to A+M, head of talent acquisition Ayana Angelyn said that the individual should ideally be a growth marketing leader with strong analytical and tactical knowledge, experience in the Southeast Asia marketing, as well as a good understanding of the eCommerce system. Other qualities include the ability to drive profit and impact growth marketing, drive customer acquisition and retention, manage customer lifecycle, drive identification and prioritisation of partnership opportunities, and lead PR strategy and CRM.According to Angelyn, the individual will be based in Kuala Lumpur and will report to Arjya Nathvani, AVP growth, international. She added that the company aims to grow is value proposition and reach consumers, turning them into loyal OYO consumers.“The individual is expected to identify gaps; create opportunities for the OYO Southeast Asia’s growth marketing team; develop and execute growth marketing strategies and tactical eCommerce business objectives; onboard new and grow strategic partnership revenue; and manage multiple KPIs and maximise new business opportunities,” she added.
