Ogilvy Taiwan adds two chief officers to management

Ogilvy Taiwan has made two management changes – adding Amy Shih (pictured left) as chief strategy officer, and promoting Giant Kung (pictured right) as chief creative officer.

With more than 20 years of experience in brand and marketing communications, Shih’s latest position was senior vice-president of Cathay Financial Holdings for two years, responsible for digital transformation and new business strategies.

Before this position, she spent 18 years at Ogilvy Taiwan. From researcher to planning partner, she has continued to dig deep into consumer insights, market analysis, and strategic development capabilities, while adding data analysis to her skills to open new thinking on strategic planning. Her clients have included PX Mart, Cathay Financial Holdings, IKEA, and Volkswagen.

Kung joined Ogilvy Taiwan in 2001 starting out as a copywriter, with many positions in between, culminating in becoming the chief creative officer. He has worked with local Taiwanese and international brands such as Cathay Financial Holdings, FarEasTone, Nike, GSK, and Tencent, to name a few.

“We need more outstanding leaders to participate in the digital transformation journey and bring the power of our fully integrated modern agency to our clients,” said Daniel Lee, chief executive of Ogilvy Taiwan.

“With Shih’s digital transformation expertise, and Kung’s award-winning creative experience, we will not only help clients’ businesses grow, but also make clients’ brands matter.”
