Global tech, PR, communications and marketing firm Hotwire Global Communications has revealed that GetIT, a business to business (B2B) technology marketing agency situated in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region has completed its integration into Hotwire.
The news of the integration comes a year after Hotwire’s acquisition of GetIT in July 2022. From 11 July, GetIT offices situated in Singapore, Malaysia, India and Japan will join the 11 Hotwire offices situated worldwide to expand the company’s global influence into the APAC region.
The integration of GetIT into Hotwire will also strengthen Hotwire’s offerings in reputation, relationship and revenue assistance. Such efforts will include digital marketing, content production, account-based marketing and public relations.
Current Hotwire clients such as Informatica are already benefiting from the expanded capabilities, it said. The growth in the APAC region also adds to Hotwire’s client portfolio a list of high-profile enterprise technology brands such as Google Cloud, Palo Alto Networks, Telekom Malaysia, Amazon Web Services and SAP Concur.

“Growing our presence in APAC reflects our ambition for accelerated global expansion and continued support for our clients in navigating the current tech landscape via our reputation, relationship and revenue services,” said Heather Kernahan, global chief executive officer of Hotwire.
“We’re thrilled to extend the Hotwire footprint across Asia Pacific with our expanded capabilities and specialised communications and marketing services for technology and innovation leaders,” Kernahan added.
The access to the four new offices established in Singapore, Malaysia, India and Japan also amplifies Hotwire’s network to over 400 employees and 15 offices worldwide. In the APAC region, it now has over 40 employees and six offices. This is inclusive of the existing Hotwire offices established in Australia.
Additionally, Anol Bhattacharya, founder and chief executive officer of GetIT will see his role transition to managing director of marketing for Hotwire Asia Pacific.
Corporations across various industries have been ramping up their efforts to expand their presence in the APAC region. Just recently, global alternative investment firm Investcorp agreed to invest US$100 million for a majority stake in SEC Newgate, a global strategic communications and advocacy group. This aims to help SEC Newgate accelerate its development strategy, with a focus on expansion in EMEA and the APAC region through both organic growth and M&A.
Since its delisting from the London Stock Exchange in March 2022 and the addition of Three Hills Capital Partners as minority shareholders, SEC Newgate has grown and expanded in the U.S. and Central and South America through transformational acquisitions. As part of this transaction, Nicola Ferraris will join the Board of SEC Newgate.
