According to her LinkedIn, prior to her promotion, she was head of consumer and brand marketing, Hong Kong from September 2019 to December 2021. Ting joined Google Hong Kong in August 2014 as head of partners marketing (Google Ads) for Greater China.

Ting also boasts experience in other notable organisations. She was manager at Deloitte from May 2013 to August 2014. In this position, she handled CRM, digital and emerging business solutions. She returned to Deloitte after eight years as she was a consultant from 2000 to 2005 for the company at its division in New York.

She also worked for IBM and Morgan Stanley in the earlier stage of her career.

Google Hong Kong also made another major appointment after naming Michael Yue as general manager, sales and operations last year. Yue joined the company in 2011 and has held sales leadership and strategic partnership positions.
