DBS Hong Kong targets millennials with new credit card and app

DBS Hong Kong has launched a new credit card, targeting millennials who are looking for convenience with personalised rewards.
In collaboration with Mastercard, the Live Fresh credit card offers customers a host of spending options and rewards. Customers can pick any 10 purchases each year to stagger their repayments in six installments monthly with no extra charges, while they can also enjoy up to a 90-day interest-free repayment period for all online purchases, travel-related products and services, as well as on purchases made overseas and 5% cash rebate on spending category of customers’ own choice, which can be changed every month.
DBS Hong Kong has also rolled out the Card+ mobile app, enabling customers to apply for a new credit card before adding it to a mobile wallet and using it instantly. Customers can access credit card information, reward privileges and personal loans; change credit and spending limits with a few steps; as well as apply for personal loans and get instant approval in just minutes (coming soon for new customers) and get instant cash disbursed to any bank account.
“Live Fresh, with its flexible spending options and rewards, makes it the go-to credit card for young adults. With the enhanced features of Card+, customers can immediately get their hands on a DBS credit card, or instant cash and credit, to enjoy personalised rewards and much more," said Ajay Mathur, managing director and head of consumer banking group and wealth management at DBS Hong Kong.
