Charles & Keith gathers in-house talents to share equity stories for IWD

Charles & Keith has gathered in-house talents from various market offices to share what equity means to them as part of its campaign for International Women's Day 2023. The brand has also launched a purple edition of its handbag styles to support women's rights through UN Women's "Storytelling for Gender Equality" programme.
This year, in-house talents from various market offices have gathered to share what equity means to them, they join the network of female storytelling advocates working with UN Women, who contribute to the creation of positive social norms, policies to tackle violence and a safe environment for survivors of violence to speak up about their experiences.
With the concerted efforts around International Women’s Day, Charles & Keith hopes to create meaningful conversations, raise awareness on discrimination, and take steps towards building a fair and equal society.

Poh Shi Min, senior international marketing executive, Charles & Keith, said: "The dawn of tomorrow starts today. In celebration of the 2023 theme “Embrace Equity”, Charles & Keith is also supporting the rights of women and girls through UN Women’s "Storytelling for Gender Equality" programme with the launch of a purple edition of one of its handbag styles — The Alia. 20% of all proceeds from this special iteration of the bag will go towards funding the programme.

On a similar note, in support of this year’s International Women’s Day, Häagen-Dazs is honouring its female co-founder Rose Mattus, through launching a global campaign “The Rose Project” with a US$100k bursary to shine a light on her unsung contribution to the brand and women who don’t hold back. On 8 March, Häagen-Dazs will offer a free scoop giveaway, which will be the first of its kind as a global shops initiative.
