APM exhibition doubles down on Mother's Day and extended China Labour Day

Tapping into the extended Labour Day in China and the upcoming Mother's Day, Sun Hung Kai Properties' apm mall - located in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong - has launched an exhibition to attract customers.The exhibition is divided into five sections. Specifically; a five-metre tall house decorated with sticky tape, a "selfie wall", a mural, a photo booth, and a small market showcasing handicrafts.Also displayed in the exhibition are replicas of Vincent van Gogh's masterpiece, The Starry Night, and Edvard Munch's The Scream. In addition, the mall has collaborated with several artists to demonstrate how to decorate an interior with sticky tape.Running until 13 May, the exhibition aims to attract Chinese travellers and local customers. It's expected that there will be 1.9 million visits to the shopping mall in May, bringing HK$53 million in revenue, up from 10% to 15% year-on-year."We expect to attract more than 36,000 visitors from Zhuhai and Macau, and 2,200 travellers taking cruises to Hong Kong," said Maureen Fung, general manager (leasing) of Sun Hung Kai Real Estate Agency.The company expects fashion, cosmetics, and F&B to be the most popular purchase areas during the holiday period, stating that the shops in the mall have launched a wide variety of new products to cater for customers.
