The moment you've been waiting for has arrived—the official shortlist for MARKETING-INTERACTIVE’s Agency of the Year Awards 2024 is now live. In its 20th edition, these awards shine a spotlight on Singapore’s most esteemed agencies, showcasing their remarkable achievements across four key pillars: performance, product, people, and perspective.

With 34 enterable categories, this year's lineup brings back beloved favourites and offers exciting opportunities for agencies to excel. The most exceptional agencies will vie for the coveted titles of 'Overall Agency of the Year' and 'Overall Local Hero', respectively.

Our panel of 23 senior marketing professionals from across the region meticulously evaluated each entry, applauding the entrants for their outstanding submissions.

From the jury panel, Luke Nathans, chief marketing officer from Kingfisher said that it was “super clear" that agencies of all sizes, which had embedded long-term creativity not merely as a category but a cornerstone of their business strategy, were in a league of their own.

When asked about which entries truly captured his attention, he explained that it was those that had the "courage to be brave", demonstrated distinctive character, and were "hard-wired to drive the industry forward.”

“I was inspired to see some of the best work in the industry; where one’s craft is only limited by imagination," added Mack Eng, chief executive officer of MSIG Insurance (Singapore). "The use of technology, whether it’s AI or data analytics alongside creativity brought forth some unique messaging, delivering immense brand value and exceptional outcomes for respective clients. Great submissions and congratulations to all,” he said. 

“In a year confronted with staffing and client hurdles, digital transformation, and a critical need for enhanced creativity, Singapore's agency landscape has not only shown resilience but has also elevated the quality of agencies and entries this year,” said Sherawaye Hagger, head of communications and PR, personal care, from Unilever.

She also added that “his drive towards excellence amidst adversity underscores the vibrant spirit and adaptability of the industry. "Looking ahead, I’m confident we stand on the brink of unprecedented creative potential, ready to redefine the boundaries of excellence,” said Hagger. 

Be a part of the celebration where the winners of the 20th Annual Agency of the Year Awards will be announced at a live gala dinner in Singapore on the 24th of May at Shangri-La.
