Singtel on the hunt for creative production agency

Singapore telco Singtel is on the lookout for a creative production agency. The incumbent is WPP's creative production specialist Hogarth, which was appointed in 2017 as part of a marketing roster.
Marketing understands that R3 Worldwide will be managing the review process.?Marketing has reached out to Singtel for comment.
Recently, Singtel has been ramping up its digital advertising units. In a recent financial report, the telco said it aims to ink more broadcaster deals such as?its agreement with UK?s commercial broadcaster, ITV, to create their own ?walled garden? for advertising, exclusively within the Amobee platform.
Group Digital Life CEO Samba Natarajan also shared that Amobee?s technology enables broadcasters to digitally upgrade their TV and video advertising capabilities to create value for advertisers, and be competitive in digital advertising markets where Google and Facebook dominate.
The telco also partnered with AIA in July?to digitally engage customers?on the wellness front and also co-create innovative insurance products relevant to customers? increasingly digital lifestyles. As part of this strategy, both parties unveiled a wellness platform called StepUp?that allows customers to earn local mobile data with every step they take.
Meanwhile, Singtel also inked a partnership with Indonesian ride hailing company Gojek. Both brands aim to?offer mobile, ride-hailing and lifestyle services to both customers and driver-partners.?Gojek driver-partners who subscribe to a Singtel Combo plan will be able to receive data-free usage when using their Gojek app.
