NEA appoints Atomz to Keep Singapore Clean

Singapore government body National Environment Agency (NEA) has appointed independent creative agency Atomz for its ‘Keep Singapore Clean’ campaign.The agency is tasked to conceptualise, plan and implement integrated marketing communications for the campaign. Atomz will play lead roles in planning and executing the campaign by overseeing the project’s BTL, ATL and digital executions. The agency will also be conducting consumer research survey for the campaign.The contract is for a period of three years with an option to renew after the first.‘Keep Singapore Clean’ is a nation-wide campaign that aims to increase public awareness of the importance of cleanliness in the country. First launched in 1968, the campaign’s objective has since evolved to increase a sense of environmetal ownership among Singaporeans. The campaign runs throughout the year with work set to roll out in 2016.For the campaign, NEA works with Starcom as its media partner. A spokesperson told Marketing that NEA is also looking to appoint a social media agency for the campaign. A pitch has not yet been announced at the time of writing.Stephen Chong, director, strategy & account servicing, Atomz, said, “Keeping Singapore clean is close to the heart of many Singaporeans. The Atomz team looks forward to supporting NEA in a successful partnership.”
