Mashable appoints Singapore-based content lead for Asia

After raising US$31million in venture funding in the last six months, Mashable has appointed an editor for its Asia Pacific operations. The firm now has operations for Asia, based out of Singapore as well.According to the Financial Times,  Victoria Ho, former TechCrunch, ZDNet and Singapore Press Holdings  writer will now head its content.Ho's last role was senior editor of social network app Migme. This also follows the publication’s opening in the UK and Australia in 2014. Earlier, Mashable, also known for its coverage of social media and tech, hired its dedicated fashion reporter, David Yi.The New York-based company was founded in Scotland in 2005, and has carried out two funding rounds already.
