Malaysian global chief creative officer at Digitas Ronald Ng exits

Digitas' global chief creative officer Ronald Ng (pictured) is leaving the agency and will be replaced by global chief content officer Scott Donaton. A spokesperson from Digitas confirmed the move to A+M.Prior to joining Digitas, Ng was chief creative officer at BBDO Singapore for over two years, according to his LinkedIn. He also worked at BBDO New York as executive VP/ECD for three years and BBDO Malaysia as chief creative officer for over five years.Meanwhile, Donaton has helmed the role of global chief content officer for over three years. Prior to that, he was with IPG Mediabrands for more than five years as chief content officer at UM, and CEO and founder at Ensemble Branded Entertainment, according to his LinkedIn. Donaton was also the editor and publisher at AdAge."As I reflect on the last few years, our successes are nothing short of wondrous. Yet, I’m most proud of the amazing creative unicorns here who work so hard to create transformational ideas for our amazing client partners day in, day out! And I can’t think of a better person than Scott who will now lead a united content and creative practice," Ng said.“Our unified creative and content practice will develop, produce and share brand stories that are worthy of people’s time and a brand’s dollars.
