To educate and encourage the public to keep their hands clean, Unilever Singapore has partnered with Moove Media to place Lifebuoy hand sanitisers at eight MRT stations along SBS Transit’s Downtown Line (DTL) and North East Line (NEL).Called the “Lifebuoy Infection Alert System”, the campaign allows commuters to dispense hand sanitisers anytime and at no cost. The dispensers can be found along DTL’s Bukit Panjang, Little India, Bugis and Downtown as well as NEL’s Dhoby Ghaut, Chinatown, Serangoon and Sengkang stations. Commuters’ response has been encouraging, with hand sanitisers being replenished twice a week.“The idea behind placing the hand sanitisers at the eight train stations was to bring our client’s product closer to the commuting public. Being able to try the product allows them to create a better impression of the product,” Jayne Kwek, CEO of Moove Media, said.“Lifebuoy believes that prevention is better than cure and germ protection solutions can be simple yet effective. This campaign allows us to provide a timely reminder to commuters that good hygiene habits can go a long way in helping us and our family stay healthy, even when germs are all around us,” Vicki Ting, brand manager at Unilever Singapore, said.
