KRDS Singapore has launched a new chat bot agency to help brands leverage on chat bots on instant messaging apps. Called "Oh My Bot!", the agency will be dedicated to the development and design of conversational user interfaces, chat bots and human moderation services for instant messaging applications. The agency will assist brands in building an effective bot strategy that is best suited for the brand’s business goals. It will analyse how a chat bot can help enhance a brand’s interactions with its customers and potential stakeholders.Other duties it will undertake include developing and hosting a chat bot on Facebook, WeChat and other messaging apps which offer a seamless integration with the brand’s CRM Strategy. Oh My Bot will also provide brands with reliable technical support and human moderation services to further enhance the interaction with customers online. The development follows a series of successful bot projects KRDS Singapore has undertaken on Wechat and Facebook Messenger. This includes a project for Fox Star Studios to promote the movie "MS Dhoni – The Untold Story", as well as another one for the promotion of the Bollywood Movie Kaabil. In the case of Kaabil, it will be India’s first celebrity bot. It will be able to interact with fans, send them audio messages from the celebrities and also push the trailer of the movie.“Consumers have already embraced the new communication medium - instant messaging. While the rise of Messenger, WeChat and WhatsApp has been meteoric, the presence of brands in the messaging space has been negligible. Bots built atop the APIs of these platforms allow brands to engage more seamlessly and provide the most appropriate information to their customers,” Preetham Venkky, director at KRDS Singapore, said.
