Khoo Kar Khoon resurfaces at Media Chinese International

Industry heavyweight Khoo Kar Khoon has been appointed independent non-executive director of Media Chinese International (MCIL).MCIL is a Chinese-language media group formed by the merger of Ming Pao Enterprise Corporation, Sin Chew Media Corporation and Nanyang Press Holdings. The company has confirmed the appointment to A+M.Khoo was the former communications director of Nestle Malaysia and past president of the Malaysian Advertisers Association. He is positioned to become the chairman of MCIL’s nomination committee, according to filings with Bursa Malaysia.Khoo has overseen communication functions for some of Nestle’s most loved brands such as Milo, Nescafe and Maggi.
