Former BBDO ECD VJ Anand heads to Go-Jek

Go-Jek has appointed former ECD of BBDO, VJ Anand (pictured), as senior vice president of creative/executive creative director.He was previously with BBDO for close to two years and also worked at TBWA\ Malaysia for over five years. During his time there, he served as group executive creative director and creative director of Creative Juice\TBWA Malaysia.Before joining TBWA\, Anand was with Cheil Worldwide as creative director for about a year. He has also helmed roles at Riverorchid Bangkok and Ogilvy.The appointment comes as multiple media reports stated that Go-Jek is looking to expand into three other Southeast Asian countries in a few weeks. Singapore's local newspaper The Straits Times speculates this to be Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.Go-Jek and Anand did not respond to A+M's queries.Read also:Go-Jek in Singapore: ‘Caution needs to be exercised in order to not look too cheap’Go-Jek pens tribute to Uber following SEA exit
