Diageo has unveiled a mobile app for Android and iOS that allows customers to personalise bottles of Johnnie Walker with their own custom labels.Untitled Project was responsible for the creation of the app, which allows photos to be printed and labels pasted onto bottles instantly. This follows the roll-out of the VR experience for another one of Diageo's alcohol brands, The Singleton.Known as the "Johnnie Walker Label Studio", Untitled Project created 3D renders of the physical space, featuring product displays, a sales counter and a photo wall with props. A global-roll out of the app and studio is currently underway, and Untitled Project is supporting activations across Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas. It is not only working on regular updates of the app with added personalisation templates and backgrounds, but also creating toolkits and guides for local markets to activate the studio seamlessly.“This was a challenging brief because of the level of technical specifications that were required, but Untitled Project were able to deliver it with ease. We are delighted to continue building our relationship with the team at Untitled Project to create technology-enabled experiences that add value to consumers and deliver sales growth," Jessica Ng, global marketing manager for Diageo’s Reserve Portfolio, said.
