What impressed founder and chief executive officer of Liquido Malaysia, Nadia Hasbi was the Brazilian beach and fitness wear brand's strong image and how it portrayed women positively.Having based in Brazil for two years, she is now back in Malaysia with the official rights to market the brand locally, with its own marketing plans. The company has appointed Pixaworks as its creative agency and Mustard Tree Communications as its PR agency and competes with the likes of Dani Maia Brazil.Liquido is targeted at urban women aged 17 to 40 years old who are beach goers as the designs, she says are made for "real women in mind and cut to complement women's bodies."Hasbi told A+M the beach/bikini culture in Brazil is strong and she hopes to introduce that concept to Malaysians beach goers at an affordable price."Liquido offers more interesting designs in various colours. I'm optimistic that this brand would appeal to the targeted urban women," added Hasbi. The marketing campaign will kick-off with an official launch and a search for its first brand ambassador in November. For its promotion, it will leverage its official website (www.liquido.com.my) and Facebook page, where photos from interviews with contestants will be shared. The brand is looking to collaborate with media players and other beauty/apparel brands.[gallery ids="19170,19169,19171"]
