Indochine Media Ventures (IMV) has just issued its first edition of Barcode Magazine, Singapore, tailored to "curious co-ed" readers aged 20 to 28-years in Singapore. After the success of Barcode Vietnam, launched in September 2012, the publisher of Robb Report Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia, Barcode Vietnam and Luxury Guide, has decided to anchor Barcode in Singapore.Barcode’s newest edition will feature conversations around fashion, dining, beauty and wellness, entertainment and travel. The magazine views Singapore as both traditional and cosmopolitan, with food as our cultural mediator and fashion as our voice. In light of that perspective, fashion and dining will serve as the magazine’s core content.IMV president Michael von Schlippe said: “We are delighted to bring a quality lifestyle publication to Singapore. Barcode is the companion of the individual where the intellectually curious and the socially aware meet. Our team of creative and imaginative individuals backed by a pool of local contributors will ensure a quality print for our readers.”Rachel Tan, Barcode magazine editor-in-chief, said: “Barcode Singapore aims to be the best friend of the individual who curates their closet, for the wanderer who loves to travel, and for the creative mind who dares daydream.”The lifestyle magazine retails at $3.90 and is available at all major bookstores, newsstands, cafes and airport lounges. Barcode Magazine is also running an online game on their website (www.barcodemagazine.com.sg) as part of their launch activities.
