Video production house Shootsta has opened its global headquarters in Singapore which will be led by Shootsta’s founder and CEO, Mike Pritchett and co-founder and chief technology officer (CTO), Tim Moylan. Moylan has recently relocated to Singapore from Sydney. Founded in 2015 in Sydney, Shootsta has over 250 clients in markets such as Australia, Singapore, United Kingdom, United States and Hong Kong across four continents. It began its operations in Asia in 2017, working with clients such as Samsung, VISA, Deloitte, HSBC and Qantas.

According to a press statement sent by Shootsta, the country’s position as an international hub was one of the key driving factors behind Shootsta’s decision to officially make Singapore its global headquarters. Singapore will serve as a crucial base as Shootsta continues to expand the brand across the Asian region.

Pritchett said, “In spite of the global pandemic, Singapore continues to produce world-class technology in an environment that bolsters innovation. Having Moylan join me in Singapore is fantastic for the success of our business and together, we’ll continue to help our clients transform effectively during these testing times.”

“As we continue to effectively service our global clients at scale, this move made perfect sense. Singapore’s technological advancement, level of connectivity, and accessibility are unrivalled, making this decision a no-brainer! COVID-19 has encouraged businesses to boost communications in an effort to sustain the level of trust with their stakeholders and keep their brand front of mind,” Moylan added.

This announcement follows Shootsta’s most recent development in April, where the company announced the launch of a suite of new digital products. Originally intending to be launched in the second half of 2020, Shootsta brought forward its plans to expand beyond corporate video to facilitate the increasing need from companies to communicate digitally during COVID-19.
