Uniplan HK MD Darren Chuckry departs

Uniplan have parted ways with Darren Chuckry, managing director at Uniplan Hong Kong.Chuckry joined Uniplan in 2010 where he helped foster the events business. Over the years, he has successfully grown the business with remarkable events in Hong Kong and Macau. Uniplan promoted Chuckry from executive client services director of Asia to lead Hong Kong’s operations last November. “Darren contributed greatly to Uniplan’s successes in the Hong Kong market and we wish him the best in his future endeavours,” says Christian Zimmermann, CEO at Uniplan.“With increasing business opportunities and a strong talent pool, Hong Kong will remain one of our core markets as we continue to focus on a strengthened business approach to better serve our clients in the region,” says Zimmermann.Until a new managing director will be on board, Judd Christie, executive creative director, will oversee and lead the office in close collaboration with the Uniplan Chief Executive Officer Christian Zimmermann. The creative and operational forces at Uniplan Hong Kong will remain unchanged during this time.
