Pedestrian Group has bolstered its leadership team with four key hires, reinforcing its position as Australia’s leading youth publisher and expanding its commercial strategy.
The appointments come as Pedestrian Group continues to push its position as a trusted platform for young Australians, offering advertisers a brand-safe alternative to the unpredictability of social media.
“Pedestrian Group is going from strength to strength, reaffirming our place as the go-to platform for Australian youth,” CEO Mason Rook said.
“Our ability to deliver authentic, community-driven content not only strengthens our bond with our readers but also positions us as a trusted alternative to the unpredictable environment of social networks.”
Rook said the new hires bring a depth of experience and fresh perspectives to the company.
Jillian Matthews joins in a newly-created national sales director role, reporting directly to Rook. Josh Casemore, joins as NSW sales director, while Hannah Brenegan joins as advertising and partnerships director.
Lisa Costa Santos joins the Melbourne team as senior advertising and partnerships director.
All four join Pedestrian from The Guardian Australia.
“Jill’s proven track record in media and her deep understanding of the Australian advertising landscape make her the perfect fit to lead our commercial strategy,” said Rook, adding the new team will deliver value to advertising partners.
