MARKies Awards Singapore 2020 shortlist announced

The long wait is finally over! We are excited to announce this year’s finalists for the MARKies Awards. The MARKies are back for the fourth year to recognise and reward the most innovative, creative and effective campaigns spanning Singapore’s entire marketing services industry.

The awards were judged by an independent panel of 35 client-side marketers. One of our judges, Mark Khoo, digital marketing and eCommerce director, Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore commented that the agencies have high potential this year and it was encouraging to see the caliber of up and coming talents in this new decade. Meanwhile, Johnny Tan, country manager, HEINEKEN Asia Pacific Beverages added that the agencies showcased “colourful pantone to attract, engage and excite its target audience”.

Also weighing in on the entries was Maurice Tan, deputy chief executive officer, Health Promotion Board (HPB), who said the entries he assessed, demonstrated “breakthrough creative works that deliver impact for the brands and businesses".

Overall, this year's MARKies had 31 refreshed categories available for entry across two main segments - Creative Ideas and Media Usage. The agency that wins across these two segments will receive the grand title of Overall Creative Ideas MARKie and Overall Media Usage MARKie.
