Corporate Affairs Manager (1025997)

The Corporate Affairs Manager will be responsible for leading communications among key industry players and respective regulatory authorities. He will spearhead the execution of relevant social policies, while supervising media relations with respect to the organization’s brand and business reputation. You must keep abreast of any changes in regional government policies, as well as lead communication strategies in times of crisis management. In so doing, you are regularly updated on macro-economics as well as competitive movements. This role will manage the South-East Asia region, with particular focus in Malaysia.

The client is a leading conglomerate with prominent global presence, selling a wide portfolio of prestigious luxury products across consumer industries. They posted strong positive trends in spite of the recent economic downturn, demonstrating superb financial strength and success in this business.

The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in government or public affairs. You will preferably have a background in the spirits, wine and beer sector, or tobacco industry, associating with relevant parties in the process. Past experience in the South-East Asia region is a key requisite, along with network of contacts with relevant government authorities and media partners.
