Hill & Knowlton reworks financial practice

Hong Kong - Hill & Knowlton Asia has bolstered its financial communications practice with the appointment of KW Lam (pictured) as director and promoting Julian Lee to director of its Hong Kong office.

Denise Maguire, Hong Kong managing director & head of financial communications in Asia Pacific, said KW will spearhead the development of programmes to communicate clients' vision and strategy to worldwide financial markets.

She added that in these times of global economic uncertainty, clients require unmatched strategic counsel and Lam will strengthen an already very strong financial team here in Hong Kong.

Lam has more than 20 years of corporate and financial communications experience in management and front-line positions with the most recent position as vice president of corporate communications at Titan Petrochemicals.

Prior to that he held senior agency and marketing roles in Shanghai.

Julian Lee, who has led the development of the firm's portfolio of listed mainland companies, has been promoted to director of financial communications in Hong Kong.

He first joined H&K in 2000 to work on the Hong Kong government's privatisation of the MTR.
