Ihub's Cheong relocates to China
Cheong will be working with general manager Vincent Wu and been tasked to develop and provide cost-efficient online marketing solutions, like customised advertiser-driven marketing initiatives, to target the online community in Greater China and SE Asia regions.
The company was recently appointed by Facebook to be its authorised sales representative in Asia, hence Cheong will promote the social networking site, which has been witnessing tremendous growth in the region, to agencies and advertisers in China.
Cheong was involved in the ‘italentstar' project that attracted more than 900,000 unique visitors in three months, which was awarded 'Best Pan Asian Campaign Award' and ‘Best Youth Marketing Award' at the Singapore Media Awards, as well as ‘Best International Media Plan of the Year Award' at the Hall of Fame.
He joined the company in 2007 and has over nine years of media experience working for television networks like MediaCorp Studios, SPH MediaWorks and AXN. No replacement will be made to take over his role held at Ihub Media Singapore.
