Ogilvy Singapore gongs up again
Singapore - For the second year in a row Ogilvy Singapore has bagged the top accolade at the Creative Circle Awards (CCA), taking home the Agency of the Year award as well as the Best of Show Gong in Advertising for its FHM work.
The agency led the medal tally to nab the Agency of the Year award, as it won, the Advertising gong, two golds, two silvers, nine bronzes and one finalist award. The tally excludes medals won at the Craft categories, in which Ogilvy Singapore bagged three golds for its work on "Huggies: Free to Be" TVC for Animation or Computer Generated Imagery, Soundtrack/Music and Direction.
"We are very grateful and proud to have done so well this year at the CCA's. Not only have we won the overall agency of the year for the second year running, it’s especially meaningful that Ogilvy also picked up accolades across TV, interactive and advertising. This is the best testament to the 360 creative excellence that the agency consistently strived towards,” Todd McCracken, ECD for Ogilvy Singapore said.
Other awards presented at the ceremony last Friday, included McCann Erickson Singapore's "GMP-Raffles Place Ghost" campaign which won a gold in the DM/Promo Integrated Promotional category; and JWT Singapore's work for Crown Relocations "Fragile" which won the Client Choice Awards. BBH Asia Pacific won two silvers for TV and one bronze in TV craft for its work for Chupa Chups.
The Clients Choice category is in its second year and for the first time this year an award was given. It is a special accolade that highlights pieces of work chosen by the clients "with learnings and sharing of why that particular entry appeals to them".
The top agencies in the four awarded disciplines are: Ogilvy Singapore for Advertising; Black Design and JWT Singapore for Design; McCann Erickson for DM/Promo and both Kilo Studio and Ogilvy Singapore for Interactive.
