China - Yeh Wen-Li, chairman of Aegis Media Taiwan, has been promoted to the role of chairman for Aegis Media Greater China.
In his role Yeh, who launched Carat in Taiwan, will oversee Aegis' four key brands in Greater China Carat, Isobar, Posterscope and Vizeum.
Yeh has been involved in the communications business for 25 years, serving as managing director of advertising, PR, events an DM agency United Communications and was also the chief architect of Taiwan's CATV business for a local business conglomerate.
Patrick Stahle, chairman & CEO of Aegis Media Asia Pacific, described Greater China as the company's "growth region" over the next few years and said a good management team was key to its success.
"Through strong and professional management Mr Yeh has been incremental in helping the Taiwanese team create a success story for Taiwan, a company that was quite small when they joined the Aegis group in 2000," Patrick Stahle said.
