Cheil names Agrawal to COO role

India - Cheil India has hired Bates 141's former EVP, Alok Agrawal as chief operating officer.
Agrawal held the EVP position at Bates 141 from 2003 to 2008. As Head of North India, his clients included General Motors, LML, GlaxoSmithKline, Sony, Times of India, Usha, Nokia, Dabur, Unicef and Yamaha.
"This is an exciting time to join Cheil. My main objectives are to build up the agency's capabilities and to make it more competitive, in terms of servicing our clients and developing more integrated planning strategies. I see great opportunities to be fulfilled here at Cheil India," he said.
