Marketing appoints Malaysia editor

Marketing magazine, Asia's highest circulation magazine for marketing, agency and media professionals today announces the appointment of its new editor for Malaysia, highly experienced former Sun newspaper reporter, Llew-Ann Phang.
Phang joins Lighthouse Independent Media, publishers of Marketing magazine, after nine years reporting on business, general news and politics for the Sun, in senior journalist, investigative reporter and section editor capacities, both in the Penang bureau and in Kuala Lumpur. She will now work out of Lighthouse's newly established Kuala Lumpur office on Jalan Raja Chulan.
"Llew-Ann is a well regarded and accomplished news and business journalist who has a strong understanding of the Malaysia market, I am confident she will make an excellent editor," Lighthouse's editorial director Tony Kelly, who is also relocating to Kuala Lumpur to push Marketing magazine' growth strategy, said.
"Llew-Ann is having no trouble securing exclusive interviews for our launch edition after less than one week on the job and we have full confidence in her ability to grow and lead a strong editorial team to produce what will be the third edition of Lighthouse's Marketing magazine, to the highest possible editorial standards.
