Blackberry turns bold and booms

Hong Kong - SmarTone-Vodafone has today rolled out BlackBerry Bold, with a campaign to support the launch created by JWT.

Research In Motion, maker of the Blackberry phone, has rolled out its its new phone and will offer SmarTone-Vodafone programs including Market Watch in a TV format, where users can capture live coverage of the stock market.

Research group IDC, estimates 80,000 blackberry devices shipped to Hong Kong's mobile carriers in 2007. The relation between shipment and product sales in the market is interdependent and correlated.

"We consistently stand out in the market by creatively designing our services to really let our customers get the most out of their Blackberry smartphones," Douglas Li, CEO of SmarTone-Vodafone, said.
