Watsons regional account lands at OMD
Regional - Watsons Personal Store has selected OMD for its regional media business worth more than US$30million covering 10 Asian markets.
OMD won the business following a three way pitch against incumbents Carat and MediaCom, having demonstrated a stronger capability in the areas of network resources, strategic thinking and creativity in media executions.
OMD's brief takes in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Macau, Thailand, The Philppines, South Korea and Indonesia.Margaret Siew, regional marketing director, health & beauty Asia for A.S Watson Group said:"Our new regional campaign builds on our efforts to cater to our consumers' everyday needs and aspirations. More importantly, it allows our consumers to express and indulge themselves through a wide variety of products and services".
She said OMD will play an key role in making the brand positioning of Watson's "your personal store" more relevant to local consumers.
