Edipresse acquires Solitaire

Singapore - Edipresse Asia has acquired luxury publisher Solitaire Media, slightly over a month since buying over Appetite Media.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The acquisition is inline with Edipresse's goal of expanding its footprint in Asia and growing its titles regionally, as well as licensing its magazine brands internationally.

Magazines under Solitaire Media in Singapore are predominantly in English such as Solitaire APAC, Solitaire China, PRO Jeweller, Brilliant Jewellers, Showtime and Abadi which are published in Indonesian.
Solitaire Indonesia, published by PT Adi Permata Gemilang, and Thoi Gian, published in cooperation with Oriental Media in Vietnam will now also be under Edipresse's charge.Solitaire Media's MD Michelle Tay will remain in her current position while publisher Rainer Sigel assumes a consulting role as company is renamed - Edipresse Solitaire Media - which will operate independently as a division of the Edipresse Group.
