JCDecaux shows off Pepsi football
Singapore - Pepsi has tapped on the building excitement for the upcoming UEFA Euro 2008 tournament by launching a football-themed outdoor campaign on JCDecaux.
Pepsi's celebrity footballers such as Ronaldinho, Beckham, Henry, Fabregas, Messi and Lampard all feature in the campaign. It launched on 20 May and will run for six weeks, targeted at youths aged 15 to 24.
"The idea is to create a football campaign that transcends the ordinary, provides entertainment and most importantly, creates a larger than life effect on its audience. Under the global positioning of 'endless possibilities', Pepsi, for the first time, invites its audience to make their impact in the world of football," Tricia Fong, senior account manager for BBDO Singapore, said.
The campaign features a large outdoor ad placement at Somerset along the Orchard shopping belt. MindShare Singapore did media duties.
