Time Out Singapore spruiks online ad space
Singapore - Ink Publishing has officially launched the website for Time Out magazine and has signed on advertisers such as Nokia, The Esplanade, Mini Cars, and Attica Nightclub.
Julian Peterson, marketing director of Time Out Singapore, said, "During testing, the website has already seen a 5% weekly increase in traffic every week since October 2007."
The Time Out website features a variety of advertising spots, from larger spaces such as the top and side of the website, mid-page units that receive the most number of hits, to smaller spaces popular with restaurants and spas with tighter budgets.
Georgia Reeve, online editor of Time Out Singapore, said events and features are continually updated on the website with over 10,500 pages of free-to-view content, with reviews of more than 1,300 venues in Singapore.
Julian Peterson added, "While some publishers are more apprehensive of the internet and only publishing small amounts of content or attempting to charge for content, Time Out made a decision that all content from our magazine would be available online and for free."
