Singapore - Young and Rubicam's (Y&R) bid to take over events shop The Audience Motivation Company Asia (AMC) has fallen through after months of talks.
On 4 July 2007, Marketing reported on Y&R's acquisition intentions for Formul8, AMC, and The Upper Storey. Since then discussions between the WPP agency and the two independent companies AMC and Formul8 have ended with a no deal.
Neither Y&R, AMC nor The Upper Storey would not comment on the issue.
