Singapore - Icon has won a three-way pitch for the inaugural Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) PR account.
The agency will build media relations with the international press to get more global coverage as well as to pitch it worldwide as a comprehensive event for the water industry.
The four tiered event comprises: ‘Water Leaders Summit', a new platform for policymakers and global industry leaders to meet and discuss on issues affecting them; a 'Water Convention' for scientists to highlight the advances in water-technology; a ‘Water Expo' to encourage trade exhibitors and businesses to come to Singapore; and a ‘Water Festival' to involve the public.
The Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize will also be launched to recognise contributions made towards solving the world's water problems by applying technology or implementing policies and programmes which benefit humanity.
