California Fitness to flex its muscle

Hong Kong - California Fitness has appointed Upstream Asia to manage its PR in Hong Kong, ahead of a massive expansion plan which will see some 75 fitness centres launched around the region within the next nine years. 

Upstream has been tasked with focusing specifically on the Hong Kong market and will handle PR and the company’s corporate communications.

California Fitness is currently embarking on regional and plans to have 100 fitness centres by 2016.

The company opened its first branch in Beijing and will on 1 November will launch a Shanghai centre.
