TVS Bikes picks agency for Indonesia
Indonesia - Group M's Entertainment, Sports & Partnerships (ESP) agency, has been appointed by TVS Bikes, one of the largest manufacturers of two-wheel bikes in the world and the third largest in India, to handle activation for the its brands such as Apache, Neo, Tormax and Rockz.
The appointment comes following a three-way pitch that included Ogilvy and Y&R.
"What's very encouraging is that while the pitch was for one brand, based on our work, they have entrusted us with their entire portfolio," said Vishal Mehta, technical advisor at ESP Indonesia.
Last year, in a slew of regional changes, ESP has promoted Kenny Hau to the role of regional managing partner and hired Kesevan Balasingam to head ESP in Malaysia.
ESP is GroupM's content creation division and is responsible for the development of integrated content solutions for brands across the entire GroupM client list, being involved in areas such as branded content, sports sponsorship, activation and ad-funded programming.
