CNBC continues Aussie adventure

Regional - CNBC will expand its Australian business further with the 2 October launch of two new programs, Trading Matters, and Australia This Week, as well as the hiring of business news journalist Oriel Morrison to anchor the new shows.
Trading Matters will be a half hour program providing local investors with real time information on local share and market performance while Australia This Week, which runs after the close of trade, summarises key events that shaped the week.
"CNBC has enjoyed tremendous growth in Asia Pacific this year. These new Australian initiatives are part of a significant investment that we have committed to further expanding in the region," Jeremy Pink, president and MD for CNBC Asia Pacific.
The news comes on the back of the March launch of Squawk Australia.
